Filling any small voids or blemishes with epoxy to stabilize the piece. Sanded to 600 grit and then a hand rubbed oil finish. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNow the bells and whistles. The beautiful cigar holder is shaped from a great piece of curly walnut I was lucky enough to find. Supporting said piece is a 50 caliber bmg dummy round with a 802g cutting edge match bullet. Go big or go home, right?? Throughout the board are .223\/5.56 dummy rounds standing at attention over BMG slices. Somewhat hidden under the cigar is an ar-15 clip loaded with more dummy rounds. Figured why not, right?  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ashtray is a match to the curly Walnut cigar holder that I turned myself. The ashtray and whiskey glass sit on a poured 2.5” epoxy bed with inlaid BMG slices. And most importantly, each end is outfitted with a USMC challenge coin. Our challenge coins will only come from veteran run businesses.  Yes, they cost us a bit more(we eat that) but buying Chinese coins so I can make more at a veterans expense has never even crossed my mind. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThank you for looking.
