- CharDUDErie Boardz – Perfect for charcuterie spreads and entertaining. Why should the food and spreads be the attention grabber? I had pick every board personally when I have an idea. It’s gotta be PERFECT!! Cracks, bark inclusions, feathering and figure…. It all has to work together. And when it comes to filling these areas with epoxy, well, I do it a little different. I only use food safe superclear epoxies because well, it’s great stuff. And instead of just filing an inclusion, I dress it up the best I can. Highly polished bullets or whatever the “theme” may be. I truly love the little details that most don’t even think about. I take these pieces of lumber from rough looking pieces of wood
- Cigar and Whiskey Boardz – Now these Boardz are a favorite of mine. They usually start with a highly figured piece of wood. Usually a walnut crotch. I’m a sucker for those. They’re milled up and then either sanded to around 1000 grit(yes,1000) or they get to meet my great grandfathers Stanley #5 hand plane. That’s truly the best way to keep the figure in wood alive. Finishes are usually a seal coat or two of general finishes seal-a-cell and either arm-r-seal or my stash of minwax antique oil finish. All buffed out and finished with renaissance microcrystalline wax. It all depends what the particular piece needs to look it’s best. Oh, I don’t stop with the wood. The 50 BMG rounds and slices get a 3 stage polishing, a few coats of Laquer for brass and the same wax. I don’t build things with the mindset of “til the check clears”. I want your Boardz looking just as good I’m all the years to come.
- Whiskey Shooter Series Boardz – My whole point to this business was to create something that’s never existed before. Many many years ago I had an idea for a with bullets incorporated. When I looked about a year ago, I was surprised that no one had done it yet. When I made my first one however, I figured out why. Cost. I’ve worked very hard to be able to offer some pretty bad a$$ Boardz at an affordable price point. The shooter series Boardz are our stock Boardz made from the same quality walnut, maple and cherry(just without all the figure and extra time). Some guys see my Boardz and see the bullets. Then there are guys that see the wood first. Figured I could please both sides with different options. I didn’t just wanna bring out $300+ Boardz, so the shooters were born
